v5.1.5
New features
- Stronger on-premises install automation — CollabOps can automatically prepare the install components needed for bare-metal and air-gapped environments. Pre-install validation, bundle assembly, and the reinstall flow are handled together, making on-premises installation more consistent.
- Repository file history — View commit history by folder or file path from the repository file tree. From the commit list, you can jump straight to the repository state at that point.
- Agent tool approval flow — When an Agent runs a tool, approval results are handled in a structured way. Approvals made in chat connect into the same approval flow.
- Expanded MCP tools — Query and manipulate core CollabOps objects — issues, change requests (CRs), documents, repositories, and sprints — from tools. This widens how external tools connect to CollabOps workflows.
- Stronger tool-call security and auditing — When MCP tools are used, CollabOps checks the permission scope and records which tools were called. Raw tokens and secrets are not logged.
Improvements
- Faster repository list — The repository list loads branch counts, tag counts, commit activity, and pipeline information faster. The list stays reliable even in environments with many repositories.
- Faster branch list — Changed how branch information is read so the list doesn't lag even in repositories with many branches.
- Better repository activity metrics — The commit-activity sparkline and the branch, tag, and pipeline data in the repository list reflect the actual state more closely.
- Clearer pipeline failure reasons — When a pipeline fails because of a timeout or an infrastructure reason, it no longer looks like an internal error and you can see the actual cause.
- Improved pipeline log viewing — Streamlined the retrieval path so pipeline run logs load faster. Auto-focus on the log screen works again.
- Better pipeline artifact downloads — Refined the download response so pipeline artifacts can be saved as files.
- More stable on-premises reinstall — Fixed a flow where mismatched database account information halted installation during an on-premises reinstall or resume. You can continue the install without a manual reset.
- Better install diagnostics — Structured the step-by-step install logs and the diagnostic information needed for support bundles more clearly.
- Better localized error messages — Error messages shown to users are no longer flattened into generic text; they appear with a title and language that match the actual cause.
- Improved CR review experience — Fixed a flow where the review-submit modal appeared empty when there were multiple pending comments. Code-review email notification wording is also more accurate.
- Improved notification display — Cleaned up a flow where read notifications disappeared from the screen too slowly, and refined the per-workspace unread indicator.
- Better chat mention notifications — Mention details are easier to see in the preview for chat mention notifications.
- Copy page link — Added a copy-link button to key page headers so you can share the current screen's address more easily.
- Improved issue board creation — When adding a Kanban board issue on a project board or sprint board, the selected status is applied reliably.
- Better milestone progress display — Completion rate and progress status are shown more accurately even for milestones that contain canceled issues.
- More stable desktop app sign-in — The desktop app handles authentication-refresh responses more reliably.
- Cleaner plan-limit notice — When you hit the repository creation limit, the notice toast no longer appears twice.
