Team
What each team role can do
A team groups multiple people so you can grant permissions in bulk. When a team is added as a member of a project or repository, every member of the team inherits the assigned role.
Roles
A team has two roles.

| Admin | Manage team settings and members |
| Member | Belong to the team and share the permissions granted to it |
Permissions
What each role can do at the team level.

When a user has both individual and team permissions, the higher one applies. For example, if the user has Read on a repository individually and the team has Write, the user effectively gets Write.
